2018/2019 Program Announcements

Dear Educators,

P.A.R.T.Y. Program is heading into its 32nd year of operation and we could not be more excited to share news that there have been several changes to our program that we believe will improve the quality of your students’ experience.

Program Updates:

We thank you for participating in the P.A.R.T.Y. Program evaluations that helped us to understand the strengths and areas for improvement in our program. You and your students shared honestly and we have heard you! As we move further into our third decade of delivery, we feel it is important to ensure P.A.R.T.Y. Program meets every expectation for 21st century learning. You will notice some key changes in this coming year that will create more space for reflection, hands-on experiential learning, and engaging speakers covering the most relevant information for teens today. As a result of some of these needed updates, as well as changes in our physical location at the hospital, we will no longer be accepting class sizes of larger than 45 students for any given date.

We thank you in advance for your support of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program and our collective interest in reducing the rate and severity of injury in young people in our community. We could not do it without you!

Please do not hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Office for Injury Prevention
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
