P.A.R.T.Y. Program: IGNITE Registration

Program Description:

Registration is now open for our new injury prevention virtual field trip experience: P.A.R.T.Y. IGNITE!

P.A.R.T.Y. IGNITE is based on the strong history of P.A.R.T.Y. Program where students learn about injury and injury prevention strategies, and adjusts to meet students and educators in the online environment. This program has been designed to support our 21st century learners in a flexible delivery format in three parts:

  • 150-minute synchronous learning in real-time with guest speakers including Injury Ambassadors, injury prevention experts, and frontline healthcare professionals (hosted on Zoom platform)
  • The After P.A.R.T.Y.  Student activity Package (asynchronous) through a new P.A.R.T.Y. IGNITE Teacher Portal for students to continue their experience in independent or teacher-led activities designed to encourage critical thinking and self-awareness for personal and community safety
  • P.A.R.T.Y. eLearning course where, upon completion students will receive a certificate.

 

Registration criteria:

  • Students must be 14 years old or older
  • Group sizes of 20 – 80 students, and 1-5 teachers
  • Registration fee of $12.00/student participant, plus $10 service fee

PROGRAM POLICIES

 

Registration Fee Policy P.A.R.T.Y. Program: IGNITE registration fee is $12.00 CAD/per student participant with at least 1 teacher (at no cost). The amount includes the live online session with P.A.R.T.Y. Program speakers, the After P.A.R.T.Y. Student Activity Package, access to the P.A.R.T.Y. elearning certificate course and a new teacher information and resource portal.
Date Interruption Policy All registrants are responsible for the date of program selected. Please notify Toronto P.A.R.T.Y. Program at partyprogram@sunnybrook.ca or call 416-480-5912 if the selected date falls on a PA day, school event, testing or exam day, or religious holiday, as soon as possible or 30 days prior to the selected date. This will allow the time to reschedule your group and offer your date to a group on the waiting list.
Attendance Policy The minimum number of student participants is 20 and the maximum is 80. A minimum of 1 teacher is required to attend the full online session. A maximum of 4 additional teachers, counselors, social workers, school administrators are also able to attend the live session.
Cancellation and Refund Policy Refunds will be considered for a group as a whole. Schools may cancel and receive a partial refund if requested more than 30 days before the scheduled program date. Program fees are for the program as a whole (synchronous and asynchronous programming). Refunds will not be considered for individuals who do not attend the synchronous event as scheduled. The $10.00 service fee is non-refundable
