IMPORTANT: PARTY PROGRAM STAFF UPDATE

*** Message sent on behalf of Sharon Ramagnano, Manager of Trauma Services ****

Hello everyone,

I wanted to reach out to all of you to update everyone on some recent changes to our P.A.R.T.Y. Program staffing.

Most of you may already know that Joanne Banfield, who has been the Manager of the Centre for Injury Prevention here at Sunnybrook for a very long time, has recently retired.  We wish Joanne the very best and know that her legacy will live on here at Sunnybrook within our programs and excellent work that will continue.  If anyone has any questions or would like to connect with me at any time please feel free to contact me via email or phone at any time.  I am hoping to get to know you all better over the next little while and while my portfolio is a bit different than Joanne’s was, the injury prevention centre and programs will remain a priority for us here at Sunnybrook.  I look forward to getting to you know all!

I also need to let you know that our P.A.R.T.Y. Program coordinator Karianne (Tamblyn) Mintz will be leaving us at the end of this week to pursue an education coordinator role with the psychiatry department here at Sunnybrook.  Karianne has been a valuable asset to us here in the Centre for Injury Prevention and in a very short time has been able to make some strong connections with each of you as well with our schools and incredible injury survivors.  She has been able to help us move forward with some program planning for our curriculum with the program and also with the future for P.A.R.T.Y. Headquarters.   We are sad to see her leave us, but know that she will so amazing things in her new role and wherever she goes and we will support her in any way we can.

Please help us congratulate Karianne in her new position and thank her for all her work and support she has given to all of us.

I will be interviewing for Karianne’s replacement immediately and will ensure we keep you updated as to our progress to ensure the program continues to move forward and on track.

In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to either myself or Patricia here in the Centre for Injury Prevention.
